Wow, we had some great teaching this past week at Powerhouse. I hope you were all there and paying good attention. We have only just begun on staying Godly in this messed up world. In Intensity we looked at Shadrach, Meshach & Abed Nego & how no matter what, they wouldn't conform to the King's request, even if it meant death. They knew God was the only way to go & that He would protect them.
The newsletter brings up the point of keeping ourselves holy & setting ourselves apart to be acceptable to God. He wants to make sure we keep that mess of the world off of us so we can live clean & right for Him. Keep looking over the newsletter & learn the memory verse (Hint: 1 John 4:4), because there are prizes galore in the prize box!!
Make sure you are spending some time with the Lord everyday! Go to the website for daily Powershots to get your day started with the Word! Even the few minutes it takes to read it will start your day off right! Pray for your family, your church & the nation & its leaders.
